This belt is also gaining real government backing. Under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, the Memmadpur (Ambala) to Banur (IT City Chowk) to Kharar (Chandigarh) corridor includes a dedicated spur to the PR-7 road. This central government highway project is actively upgrading road infrastructure around Banur and Zirakpur, which supports long-term connectivity and value in the area.
